We confirm that since middle of 2003 all engines and the hydraulic rudder system of our M/S NAVIGARE have been equipped with additional ultra-fine filters and fuel optimizers supplied and installed by Weiland Filtertechnik-Schifffahrt and as from 2008 by micfil International GmbH as follows:

John Deere / Volvo Bow Engines

Hatz Generators

Rudder Hydraulic

These additional ultrafine by-pass filters have kept the engine and hydraulic oils permanently clean and free of water and permitted long oil change intervals with very good results of oil analyses. In the case of additional fuel filtration and fuel optimizing the micfil ultrafine-filters have caused a very smooth engine running and long intervals for changing injectors and injector pumps.

Through the use VR-Chips the vibration in the living rooms of the ship caused by the main engine was very much reduced.

The result of the additional micfil ultrafine-filters and fuel optimizers is that all engines have run trouble free with great cost reduction for oil, maintenance and repairs.

Also the presently new installed mtu main engine will be equipped with micfil ultrafine filters.

In summery we can confirm that these measurements showed very positive results.
